Cancellation Policy
If conditions coerce you to cancel the tour, the cancellation must be intimated to us in writing / mail.
In all other cases cancellation charges will be as per the booking condition of the tour and we shall be constrained to levy the following cancellation charges per person.
- If cancellation is made any time not less than 31 days prior to departure, Rs.500/- per person shall be deducted for domestic tour (within India) & Rs.2,000/- per person for foreign tour (outside India). The same is treated as our service charges.
- If cancellation is made 31 to 15 days prior to departure, 50% of tour cost shall be deducted.
- If cancellation is made 14 to 0 days prior to departure, 100% of tour cost shall be deducted
- In case passenger is no show at the time of departure, 100% of tour cost shall be deducted.
- Once booking is confirmed during Peak period (e.g. Christmas and New Year Period between 21st December and 07th January) or Festival Period (e.g. Diwali, Holi etc.) cancellation fees would be 75% to 100% of Tour Cost & will be charged depending upon our hoteliers / vendors policy.
**CANCELLATION policy applicable for booking done as Guarantee Booking
This is to inform you, prior to confirm your bookings which need guarantee booking that our normal cancellation policy mentioned immediately here above will not be applicable for your booking.
Your booking has travel and tour components which need guarantee booking, which means no cancellation will be allowed once booking is made for you. Therefore general cancellation policy mentioned above will be superseded by the following cancellation policy:
If cancellation is made any time once the booking is confirmed irrespective of number of days prior to departure, 100% of tour cost shall be deducted
Important Note:-
- The mentioned package itinerary is suggested Tour Plan. The Company is responsible for only those services which are charged from the guest. All other services which are not paid by the guest to the Company are Suggested services and Company is nowhere bound to provide those services or pay the cost for the same.
- Check in and Check-out Timing of the Hotel will be according to the timing of the respective Hotels. In same way Flight & Train timings are also subject to change & concern authorities are liable to inform the changes.
- Calcutta 2 California is not responsible for compensating any loss, theft, accidental incident or additional cost incurred by the guest while taking the tour.
- Calcutta 2 California is not responsible, nor liable for any damage, loss, natural calamities, injury or death caused to any passenger while taking the tour.
- Dollar rates are applicable only to foreign nationals & Indians possessing foreign passports, while the INR package rates will be applicable to Indian nationals.
- All the disputes are subject to Delhi Jurisdiction only.
- Any Claim or refund related to the tour Package or any other travel related booked services must be brought to the notice of the Company within a week (within 7 days from the checkout or departure date); after that Calcutta 2 California or its partners or any of its employees ( www.calcutta2california.com ) will not liable to take any responsibilities on that matter at any circumstances.
